My wife asked me if I could pick up a Home Goods gift card for her friend’s birthday this weekend since the store is on my way home from work. Right inside the door they have this giant copper pig-shaped grill. There’s a duct inside that looks like it’s supposed to let the smoke out the snout.

Butt would have been funnier, use the mouth as a smoke box.

Overall it seemed more decorative than functional. You can remove the grate but there’s no bottom vent and the only way to get ash out is with a shovel.

It costs the same as a decent webber, I’d give it a try.

Every time I see an animal-shaped cooker I can’t help but think of the Brazen Bull.

Looks about as useful as the fake plant there.

About $500.00 too much.

Note the $599 price tag on the lid, and lack of any wheels to move it with.

eeesssh, sounds like a grill for a wannabe ‘million dollar penthouse balcony’.
I’ve seen some custom pits that were awesome, sounds nice but cheap.
You know, some BASIC pits go well over that $600.

Homegoods is a real weird place. I found this there two weeks ago. It is not less than 6 feet tall.

There is a grill very much like that one out Infront of the Mercury bar in Detroit. Whenever I pass through there are people taking pictures with it.
